About The Editor

Lauren Brice is an author, blogger, and student. Having published her own short stories and poetry in a number of contests, online journals, and anthologies, including placing in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and receiving publication in National Library of Poetry, GERM Magazine, and Clover Letter.
She founded Fireworks In The Night to give more unconventional creative work a home. Oftentimes, the best pieces an author writes will never find a home because it doesn't fit what is being looked for in the wider writing community. She wants to stop these works from falling through the cracks, and, instead, promote them in their stand alone, online issues.
Lauren wants to make this magazine a place where teens can share their stories with one another and with the wider community of story-lovers, receiving recognition for their work.
